This
little theatre has long gone but I have very
fond memories of it. A few weeks after finishing
at the Drama Studio I auditioned for this production.
At the time I had no idea how lucky I was, it
showed off my emotional versatility and I should
have got agents in to see it.
Vivien Reeve, who played Frieda, was very easy
to work with and I enjoyed the short run. I
have found several references to Michael Almaz,
the playwright and producer, but I don’t
know where either of them is now.
I know Karen Stephens, who directed, worked
at the Young Vic soon afterwards but we lost
touch after that.
I have no photographs or the production and
as far as I know it was never reviewed.
All that remains is this rather grainy photocopy
which doubled as publicity and programme.
